WHO WE WANT:

We want people who are passionate about food and making restaurants better. That’s what FOODit does and it’s critical that every employee—from programmers to marketers to administrators—is committed to the cause.
More specifically, we’re looking for people who can help us solve the following software/systems, hardware and sales/marketing problems:

Software/Systems:

• Review systems: Understand review data and how to collect and display it.
• Marketing vehicles: Create simple systems to allow restaurants to market themselves (e.g. segmented e-mailing, SMS campaigns, customer tracking, loyalty programs).
• E-commerce: Work out how to get people to order food online.
• Mobile apps: Build apps for consumers to find what they want; apps for managers to run their business; apps to be used in the kitchen, etc.
• Social monitoring: Build tools to listen to what’s happening on the web about restaurants.

Hardware:

• Hardware off the shelf: Work with point-of-sale systems, printers, NFC, credit card payment processors, etc.
• Industrial Design: Build our own proprietary kit to complete the solution for restaurants.

Sales/Marketing:

• Sales: Work with restaurant to help them boost business.
• Marketing: Work out how to best help FOODit reach out to restaurants and consumers, and help to restaurants to improve their own marketing.
• Operations: Get restaurants online and keep them running around the globe.
